Introduction

Welcome to the Shoemake Family History Page. This page is dedicated to anyone with the surname Shoemake and to any of their descendants.

Purpose

In 1953, the descendants of Robert Shoemake, Perry County, MS, began holding an annual reunion. In 2023, this reunion will celebrate its 70th anniversary. Robert Shoemake was my Great-Grandfather. One of my Great-Aunts started a Family History book at one of the first reunions and kept it until her death. My mother then became the keeper of the treasured Family History and eventually passed the duty of maintaining it to me, Brad Judy. I have placed this information on the Web in the hopes that it will be entertaining to those in the Family who can use it, and that it might be helpful to any who are doing Family research. Obviously, I would welcome any further input from anyone who can help.
